This week’s reading is a journey to Spider.
First, we are being gifted with an emotional environment of a gentle, cleansing rain. The rain is like a shower, cleansing and purifying you. Not like being held in a vast ocean and not like flowing down a river. Just gentle cleansing and washing away of anything that is not the real you. Absorb this refreshment.
Second, a message. Unify rather than divide. Never turn your back on one another.
Feel into your upper chakras from your heart to your crown, (ignited by the lower chakras) to ascend to your crown and see all different perspectives, 360 degrees. Then you’ll be able to form complete, intelligent thoughts.
When we argue or debate with one another it must be for a purpose. In order for this world to be productive, that purpose must be to unify rather than to divide.
Human beings are highly intelligent, and we need mental stimulation. Remember that it can actually be fun to have intellectual exchanges with someone who doesn’t necessarily have the same view as you, and even more exciting if you can come to some sort of mutual conclusion.
Imagine if you had the eyes of a thousand people, and the knowledge and wisdom that comes with their life experiences. Don’t you think there would be something you would learn?
Every interpretation of your experiences and your perspective in life makes up and weaves your beliefs and life story.
Every experience of everyone combined makes up the story of the collective, which, as I see it, makes up the storehouse of infinite intelligence, which we all have access to as an individual within that whole.
So, if you operate from the fear that your individual perspective is somehow separate from this whole (which is impossible), you may miss the point and lose out on the opportunity to come to a sort of mutual understanding with another individual.
You may even defend your perspective relentlessly because if your interpretation of something is wrong, it threatens your perspective which in turn threatens your very existence.
If you come across any new information, or different perspectives this week, don’t fight or disengage and walk away. Instead, take it as an opportunity to converse with another aspect of infinite intelligence. Either you will be sharing a new perspective with someone, or someone will be sharing a new perspective with you.
This doesn’t mean we need to conform to each other’s ideas. It means we need to get to ourselves better as individuals, and value and honor each other’s experiences and always challenges ourselves to look deeper for the truth.
This reminds me of the Socratic paradox, “I know one thing: that I know nothing at all,”
or even Corinthians 8:2, “And if any man think that he knoweth any thing, he knoweth nothing yet as he ought to know.”
